Department of Library Services Mission Statement
The Mission of the Harlingen CISD Library Services Department Is to ensure that students and staff have access to a broad range of materials, whether It be print or electronic, for pleasure reading and information needs. As well, Library Services assists students and staff In becoming ethical and effective users of information, resources, and ideas that will enable them to be lifelong learners.
As required by Section 33.026(a)(2) of SB 13, the titles listed below are being proposed for addition to the school library and will be open for public review for at least 30 days before board action from Dec. 14, 2025 to Jan. 12, 2026
