Week 1 of Summer ACE is officially in the books!

Students kicked off the summer with Imagine & Create Week, exploring their creativity and having fun while learning. 

A huge thank you to Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas for partnering with our Summer ACE program and rolling out such a fun and meaningful canvas backpack painting activity for our students! We loved seeing their creativity shine through every design and now they’re all set and prepared for an amazing summer ahead

This week we’re making a SPLASH!

It is officially Splash Zone Week and we kicked it off with our water safety lessons in partnership with The City Of Harlingen and our HCISD Aquatics Team.

As part of our Marine Adventures, Animal Science, and Shark Week lessons, students explored the science behind shark teeth and discovered how sharks use their teeth to survive, hunt, and adapt to their ocean environments.

From shark science to animal encounters, our ACE Summer Camp students are diving into hands-on learning during Marine Adventures Week!

Through engaging lessons on marine life, water safety, and animal science, students are discovering how classroom concepts connect to the world around them. Our recent educational adventure to Gladys Porter Zoo gave students the opportunity to explore wildlife up close while creating unforgettable summer learning experiences.

Our recent zoo adventure turned into a wild duck hunt!

A huge shoutout to all of our duck hunt participants for joining in on the fun while exploring and learning about animals and habitats throughout the zoo. Activities like these help make hands-on learning even more interactive, engaging, and memorable for our students!
