Year 4 Experiential Project

Introduction

The Year 4 Experiential Project aims to serve as a milestone programme that connects the IP curriculum to CAS of the Diploma Programme.  In line with the one of the school’s values of Internationalism, the Year 4 Experiential Project is designed with global education in mind.

In this respect, students are to explore a global issue relating to the UN Sustainable Development Goals that is relevant to Singapore’s local context and volunteer with a local Voluntary Welfare Organisation that provides services that contributes to the meeting of the UN Sustainable Development goal(s).


The focus on community service is in line with the SD framework, where students at Year 4 are expected to be “Making A Difference”. 


Also, given its focus on community service, the programme is a continuation of the JCAS programme that students who have gone through from Year 1 to 3.
