As the new graduation requirements move into effect for the class of 2023, school districts are planning how to ensure that EACH CHILD graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to enter the workforce. Ohio has approved three additional ways to demonstrate competency for graduation. One of these paths is to complete two career-focused activities, one from a foundational group and the other from a supporting group. One of the foundational items is receiving 12 points on a (or group of) industry-recognized credentials in ONE career pathway.
