Akinator gets 1000 stars from me. I've observed students to adults fascinated with this skill. In the classroom learn about a character (Non-Fiction or Fictional) and then let Akinator ask the questions. Can your class answer them from what they learned? Will Akinator finally be stumped?

Everyday you get a trivia question. If you get it correct, you get a bonus question. After you answer the question, Alexa will give you the correct answer. She will tell you how many people answered correctly and then will tell more about whatever question she asked.
Bamboo Math covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. They state this skill is for learners ages 5 to 12. Users can select which operation they want to practice. It has basic math questions (what is 3+1) but also does creative/word problem questions. If you use this with a screen it has visuals.

Reflection is an important part of a teacher's day yet many don't have the time. Teach, Think, Reflect will help you reflect on your day. Say "Alexa, open Teach, Think, Reflect" Alexa will provide you with two reflection stems. Try this out while you are packing up to go home. Each question or thought statement will start your self-reflection process. When using the skill, you can say "Alexa, next" to move to the next reflection. At any point, you can say "Alexa, stop" to exit the skill.
Say, "Alexa, open Story Dice" When it is time to write often times it is difficult to get your ideas flowing. Story Dice is a quick, fun way to give a spark to your story ideas. When prompted choose to roll the character, place, or item dice. Story Dice will give you a character, place or item to include in your story. You can stop there and start writing or continue to roll the dice for more ideas.
