So you want to use Alexa in your classroom! You have come to the right place. Voice technology isn’t new to education. Other Devices like iPads & Chromebooks have provided the opportunity for students to use their voice (Siri, Google) instead of typing for 6+ years. Smart speakers including Alexa have taken the voice technology to a low-cost, screen-less device option. As with any technology device/tool it is important to create a plan that includes policies on how the tool will be used. Providing information to other teachers, students, administrators, and parents for using voice technology in the classroom is vital to provide a safe experience for all. 1. Set a reminder. "Alexa, set a reminder everyday at 3pm delete voice recording history."
2. Delete your voice history at the end of every day by saying, "Alexa, delete everything I said today."
