NCAA & NAIA

Student who would like to play sports in college will need to register with NCAA or NAIA (depending on the school you plan to attend). Click on the links below to learn how to register. Once you have registered, please let your counselor know so she can upload your transcript for you.

You can register for NCAA during your sophomore year. You can register with NAIA at the end of your junior year.

You must send your ACT scores to NCAA/NAIA if you plan to compete at the college level. To send your scores to NCAA, make sure you list 9999 as one of the institutions to send scores. NAIA athletes will list 9876.

Please download the student athlete guides for NCAA/NAIA. These are very helpful in navigating through the eligibility process.

It is your responsibility to know eligibility requirements, recruiting rules, and to register. Tyner Academy cannot do that for you, but we can assist you and help you through the process. If you have any questions, please see your counselor or your coach.
