Announcements

The end of the school year is fast approaching!  With the end of the year comes several performances for the OMS Band program.  Listed below please find the performance schedule for the 7th and 8th grade bands.

May 6 - 8th grade band performance with the Ooltewah High School Symphony Band.  The performance is at 7:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church.  Students report at 6:30 in concert black concert attire.

May 7 - OMS Band Spring Concert.  Performance time is 6:30 in the OMS gym.  Students report to the OMS gym at 6:00 p.m in concert black concert attire.

May 9 - OMS Multi-cultural and Discovery Night.  7th and 8th grade students report to OMS at 4:30 p.m.  We will perform from 4:45 to 5:15.  Students need to wear jeans and the current OMS Band shirt.

May 17 - Lake Winnie band trip.  We will perform sometime between 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and then enjoy the park.  Students will wear the current OMS Band shirt.

We are also planning a trip to Wolftever Elementary School sometime in early May.  That date is still currently to be determined.  As soon as I have that information, I will send it out along with a permission slip for students.
