Your HCC Account

Everything you need for HCC uses the same set of credentials in what is called single sign-on with your HCC Account. 

Access your account at myHCC

Once you are accepted as a student the account creation process is initiated and your account is created for you. This process takes up to 4 hours to complete.

You will need your HCC Student ID number. This was sent to you from Admissions. 

This email will come from admissions@hcc.edu with the subject line “Welcome to HCC!”

Your student email is created for you using the following criteria:

• First letter of your preferred first name +

• Your last name or names (up to 15 characters) with no punctuation or spaces +

• The last 3 digits of your student ID number +

• @hcc.edu

Your initial or default password is:

• An uppercase “H” + 

• lowercase “cc” + 

• the last six digits of your HCC ID number

Example: 

John Smith with ID number 000123456

Email Address :  jsmith456@hcc.edu

Password : Hcc123456

Please Note: If you did not provide HCC an email address or your email has changed, you MUST contact Student Records to update your information. The Help Desk cannot change or add information to your student record.
