Your HCC Account

Everything you need for HCC uses the same set of credentials in what is called single sign-on with your HCC Account. 

Access your account at myHCC Dashboard click here to login.

Once you are accepted as a student the account creation process is initiated and your account is created for you. This process takes up to 4 hours to complete.

You will need your HCC Student ID number. This was sent to you from Admissions. 

This email will come from admissions@hcc.edu with the subject line “Welcome to HCC!”

Your student email is created for you using the following criteria:

• First letter of your preferred first name +

• Your last name or names (up to 15 characters) with no punctuation or spaces +

• The last 3 digits of your student ID number +

• @hcc.edu

Your initial or default password is:

• An uppercase “H” + 

• lowercase “cc” + 

• the last six digits of your HCC School ID number

Example: 

John Smith with ID number 000123456

Email Address :  jsmith456@hcc.edu

Password : Hcc123456  remember, this is just the example; use your ID number

Please Note: If you did not provide HCC with a valid personal email address or your email has changed, you MUST contact Student Records to update your information. The Help Desk cannot change or add information to your student record.
