Meet your Student Government Co-President, Estefany Duron-Mejia! Their primary objective is to bring students of all ages, backgrounds, and identities together around shared goals. They intend to establish structural bridges, opening channels for direct collaboration between the Student Government Association (SGA) and various campus support programs. Furthermore, they are committed to developing a standardized recruitment system for future leadership cycles to ensure consistent membership year after year. Finally, to prevent these advancements from fading after their tenure, they will actively work to secure a successor to maintain momentum and build upon our structural improvements, creating a lasting legacy of collaborative student leadership.

Meet your Student Government Co-President, Natalie Mangan! Her goal with SGA is to create welcoming and inclusive spaces for HCC students where they can feel supported and have their voices heard. Quality of life issues across campus need to be fully addressed, as well as making students aware of the resources available to them. Student engagement and our clubs are another valuable part of campus life, and she is determined to increase student participation in extracurriculars, as she believes it enriches any student's experience. Finally, she knows what it's like to suffer a setback that can put college on hold, and she really wants to help students in those situations so they have the best chance to succeed.

Meet our Social Media and Communications Coordinator (SMCC), Ash Martinez! Its goals for the SGA are to create clear and open communication between the SGA and the student body. Her job allows her to get the student body involved by advertising events on campus. It hopes to increase student engagement on campus and to create a space for every individual to feel included. She is open to anyone communicating with her anytime, whether it be about SGA or campus concerns and questions.

Meet your Student Senate Senator At Large, Heather Jerominek! Heather is an Environmental Science (Field) Major. This year, her main goal is to provide a safer college and campus experience to students and staff, with a focus on accessibility and allergy safety. She is excited to provide service for a better campus for all. In her spare time you can find her at 103.5 WCCH assisting wherever is needed.
