Why did you become a teacher?

" I became a teacher because I love learning and I love science. Teachers are always learning just like students!! I also wanted to be able to help kids see their individuality & potential to grow into whoever & be whoever they wanted to be when they grow up!"

Who/what inspired you to become a teacher?

"I decided to be a science teacher after I worked a year with Douglas Cherokee Upward Bound program. I got to know a lot of wonderful kids. It made me realize the positive influence I could have in helping youth succeed in school, collage, or the workforce".

What is your life outside of school?

"More school!!! Throughout the week whenever I leave work at Meadowview, I have my own education classes on Mondays and Saturdays. My classes involve readings, discussions on posts, and other types of arguments. I also try to spend time with family and friends if possible."

Do you love all your students?

" I do love all my students!!! Some frustrate me because they can't do the work in class, but 100% believe they can if they at least try! I hope to one day catch up with my current students when they are adults to see the wonderful things they've done with their lives."

What is favorite food and why?

" Probably pizza or sushi. I can never get tired of pizza because there are so many different types. I also LOVE sushi. It just makes my taste buds explode."

Do you have family?

" I have my Mom, Dad, + my younger brother:)"

What are your hobbies?

" I like to workout, cook, draw, listen to music, paint, and crochet"

If you were not a teacher what would you be?

"I would be a veterinarian or a biologist for National Geographic".
