About the Band
The Perry High Band program serves over 150 students daily and includes three concert ensembles, a percussion ensemble, and a dedicated color guard class. The Panther Regiment has consistently received Superior ratings at adjudicated events throughout the the state of Georgia including winning Grand Championship seven times most recently at the 2023 Sound of Gold Marching Band Championship in Waycross, Georgia. Students in PHS bands are regularly selected for GMEA District 11 Honor Band, South Georgia Region Band, and GMEA All-State Band.
