Kindergarten through 5th grade students will visit the media center with their classes every other week.
Pre-K students will visit the library every Monday for story time.
Kindergarten students may check out one library book, and whether it comes home or stays in the classroom is up to the discretion of the teacher.
First and Second grade students may check out one library book at a time. Second grade students may earn a "two book privilege" toward the end of their second grade year.
Third, Fourth, and Fifth grade students may check out two library books at a time.
Students may visit the media center to check in and out books whenever the media center is open for checkout (anytime there is not a full class visiting).
There will not be late fees for books. HOWEVER, if you LOSE a book or DAMAGE it beyond repair, you are responsible for the full cost of the book to replace it.
If there is intentional damage to an electronic device (Chromebook, charger, case, etc.), there will be a fine of $25 for the first offense and a fine of $50 for the second offense. On the third offense, there will be a fine equal to the current cost of the device.
If a student loses a device (Chromebook, charger, case), a new one must be purchased at current price in order to receive a replacement.
If the device repair company deems a device "beyond repair," there will be a fine of the current cost of the device in order for the student to receive a new device.
