MCMS API and Band Booster President

The president approves monthly board meeting minutes and represents the band boosters on the school principal's cabinet.

Vice-President/Communications

The vice-president sets the agenda for the monthly meetings, appoints members to committees and serves as a liaison between and board and parents. The vice-president stands in for the president if needed. 

Treasurer

The treasurer is responsible for maintaining the finances of the band boosters, including: collecting funds and tabulating orders for fundraisers. The treasurer also generates a semi-annual financial reports and maintains bank statements

Secretary

The secretary produces the minutes of each board meeting and provides drafts of the minutes to the president and vice-president for review and approval. Following approval, the secretary distributes the minutes to the other board members for acknowledgement.

The volunteer and event chair is responsible for coordinating volunteers for band booster events and supervision of concerts, as well as collaborating with the band director to provide volunteers for school-sponsored events.

The fundraising chair is responsible for planning and executing fundraising for the middle school band boosters and providing financial information regarding fundraisers to the Treasurer. The fundraising chair works with vendors to make MCMS Band merchandise available for students and parents. The fundraising chair is also responsible for coordinating with community businesses and leaders to help garner financial support.

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for transporting band equiptment. 

The Webmaster maintains the website for the Mossy Creek Band and collaborates with the band director regarding social media.
