Dr.Tamara Neely, DNP
Dr. Tamara Neely (DNP) is a highly accomplished family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner based in Charlotte, NC. She is the visionary behind HomeCare for the Carolinas LLC (HC4C), a thriving enterprise specializing in non-medical home care services and HIV case management. Through HC4C, Dr. Neely oversees VA contracts for transitional group homes, providing essential support for homeless male veterans in Charlotte with mental health disorders and substance abuse issues. Committed to community service, she founded a nonprofit, The RISE Project of the Carolinas, dedicated to assisting Black women facing mental health challenges, homelessness, and HIV. Dr. Neely's academic achievements span prestigious institutions, including Chatham University, Anderson University, Duke University, WSSU, and JCSU. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. since 1992, she champions health advocacy, earning The Candace Award from the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. Queen City Metropolitan Chapter in May 2021. Alongside her professional endeavors, Dr. Neely finds fulfillment in her marriage and two adult children.
