I'm a freshman, I like to read and write, and I love Miyazaki movies. I'd like to thank you all for coming to support the writers week program, and I hope you enjoy/ enjoyed this piece.

I have been writing poetry for 4 years now, and I feel like with my writing I can finally express myself in a way I was never able to before. I finally found my voice through my different forms of art. Along with writing, I also sketch, paint, sing, and dance. I'm a very open and expressive person overall, and I strive to help and inspire others.

I was born in Oklahoma and I’m currently 14. I moved here at two years old. Currently I am into camera/radio things as a future career for me. I love animals and have plenty of pets. I hope you like my poem. 

My name is Damingus Battle Jr. I am a singer, dancer, rapper, beat boxer, poet, actor voice actor, comedian, and songwriter. I am working on my first album called “Roaring Like Thunder”. It’s an album heavily inspired by 90s R&B which lets face it, is the best era of R&B. But I want to thank God for what I have succeeded, My family for believing in me, and the friends who’ve stood by me through both happy and sad times. And to whoever might be hearing this, just put your faith in the Lord and he will make a way for your gifts.

My spirit animal is a unicorn. I like ants. I watch beavis and butthead and sanjay and craig.
