K-1 students and students at Haywood Early College will have access to an iPad. 2nd - 12th grade students will have access to a chromebook.
K-2 students will use Seesaw.
3rd - 12th grade students will use Google Classroom.
Parents and Guardians may access both learning management platforms. If you wish to be added, please contact your child's teacher and share your email address.
Email - Parents may contact school staff through email. Students in grades 3-12 are provided HCS email accounts. 3rd-8th grade students have internal access to email and may only email within the HCS domain. High School students have both internal and external email access.
Remind - Remind is a communication tool built specifically for education that provides updates through text, email, and voice calling.
Google Meet - Google Meet is a video conferencing tool used to hold live classroom instruction, meet in small groups with students, or hold one-on-one instruction.
Blackboard Connect - Blackboard Connect is a rapid notification system. Messages are sent to parents/guardians via phone, text, or email. Parents may modify their notifications by logging in to the MyConnect Subscriber Portal.
