COMMUNICATION: If you know you are going to miss a meeting or planned event in advance, letting us know the morning of is NOT good communication. We give plenty of advance notice for our events…please try to plan around them as much as possible.
Seniors--nominate members to run for officer positions. Ballots will be shared on Remind.
-Seniors: write nominations (at least two) on the slip of paper provided. You may self nominate. Do not write your name on the paper otherwise.
2025-2026 NHS officers will be announced on September 17th.
Pay dues. Link in website. Deadline is November 1st.
HOURS: 20 per semester
10 Inside: events that Ms. Guinn and Coach Cisneros provide for you or make mandatory
10 outside: hours that you earn and find on your own
Must be earned IN that semester to count (with some exceptions)
ALL hours must be logged into SchoolLinks
Each member will PRINT a hard copy of their hours from SchoolLinks at the end of each semester and turn into Coach Cisneros (more info will be provided towards the end of the semester)
New! Inside hours may be earned by attending on campus games and performances. We will share specific events so that a group can go and support our athletics and fine arts programs in groups.

Welcome to our newly appointed members:

Our NHS president, Daniel Meza, will informally induct the new members of the Lehman chapter of the National Honor Society.
DANIEL: Raise your right hand and repeat after me.
NHS Pledge: “I pledge to uphold the high purposes of the National Honor Society to which I have been selected; I will be true to the principles for which it stands; I will be loyal to my school; and I will maintain and encourage high standards of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.”
-Officer elections for 2024-2025 will be held later this semester. Please look for a Google form to be posted on our website. All junior members may apply.
-Make sure you have joined the Remind and are following NHS on Twitter if you have an account.
-Dues can be paid by clicking on the link on our website. Please make sure you have paid your dues by March 29, 2024.
-Invite friends and family to the National Honor Society formal induction ceremony on April 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lehman cafeteria. Dress for inductees and officers is business casual (button downs but no tie, knee length dresses, etc.)
