A&S

Competitions:

In keeping with the theme of the event, we have some stellar Arts & Sciences competitions planned!

Best In Show Unicorn
Decorate your hobby unicorn (or horse...) and prepare to parade the grounds!
There will also be hobby unicorn races after the "show" so prepare yourselves and your mounts!

So Fluffy I Could Die
Entries should be fluffy, based on fluffy subjects (like animals), or death-themed
(Populace vote)

Show Me the Sparkle
Their Excellencies of Hawkwood would like to see the finest Atlantia has to offer by way of shiny, metallic, or gem-color based arts! To the brightest thing that glitters… goes the prize! We want to be dazzled!

Craft A Unicorn Horn
Use your imagination to decorate the most unique, most magical of unicorn horns!
Horns and crafting supplies will be provided, but participants may bring their own supplies as well. All entries must be decorated at the event. Open to all ages!
(TRM/TRH choice)

BARDIC:

Creatures of Myth and Legend
Unicorns, werewolves, and dragons… Oh my! Share your poems, stories, and songs that feature a mythical creature. Entries may be original, period, or SCA-adjacent in nature, but MAY NOT be “Puff the Magic Dragon” because that’s some low-hanging magical fruit. Dig deeper, my bardic friends!

Bawdy Bardic Circle
There will be a Bawdy Bardic Circle held around the firepit immediately following feast clean-up. Be mindful that this circle is not for the faint of heart! Spectate and participate at your own risk. There WILL be alcohol and naughty words.

Open Display
Bring something you've finished to show off!  No pressure, no judging - just show us what you've made!

Baroness Theresa's Unicorn Largess Competition:
Bakers Dozen / largess donation derby, sponsored by Baroness Theresa of Caid!

All entrants must create 13 items based on the theme of "the Unicorn Hunt"! "  These items can be any sort of largesse, such as:
13 needle books
13 hats from different or same period
13 childrens toys
13 pouches
13 flavored salts

These are but a few examples. Anything that is suitable to be given as largess will be welcomed.

All items must be tagged and ready to be gifted the day of the competition.  Items should not have heraldry on them as they may be given to other areas.  If donating a consumable item (food, drink, wearable) please list contents as to avoid allergies and or sensitivities.  This is not an A&S competition so documentation is NOT required.

Please specify if your donation is for barony or kingdom.

The winner will be chosen by the populace and will be able to take one item from each entrant.
