My Experience

Although it sounds simple in the terms that I wrote about my code for this project it really had me testing myself with computer languages. Difficult as it was I welcomed having a small amount of data that was scraped well rather than a large amount of data that I wouldn't feel confident about showing. Ultimately I learned a lot about a community and its ability to express themselves negatively and positively through artistic expression as represented here through my data.

Working with two different types of magazines was a challenge in the sense that each website was set up differently and would have to be scraped in a different way. This was not as straight forward as a code for a data table, there had to be a new code for each website. The challenge was to get the same information from different sources that ultimately had different ways of presenting it to the reader/coder. This was another challenge for me who thought it would be easy to use the same code for each website I sought to scrape. With this realization out the window I settled on doing two well and not five poorly.
