The Ohio High School Mathematics Invitational Olympiad (OHMIO) is an invitation-only competition for students who score well on the OCTM. One full day of competition takes place at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
In 2019, Hawken sent three competitors to OHMIO: Adithya Kalyanam, Praveen Kumar, and Raymond Tao. We hope to add to this list in 2020 and beyond.

Ohio sends an all-state team to the national American Regions Mathematics League contest every year in June. Most students are invited from top scorers on the OHMIO, but students who do not do well on the OHMIO can join through their OML or AMC scores as well.
The ARML contest is a three day, two night competition in June with team and individual rounds. Ohio attends the contest site at Pennsylvania State University. In addition to the contest itself, the Ohio coaches hold three five-hour practice sessions in Columbus every two weeks in the weekends leading up to the competition.
Please note that there is a cost associated with this contest, and the timeframe may clash with other summer obligations. We strongly encourage all Hawken students to participate in ARML if able.
In 2019, Ohio sent three teams of 15 students each to ARML.
