My Logo

In this project, we were assigned to put all of our skills together to make a final logo that we will be using for several weeks in the future. First, we doodled a decent amount of ideas. Then, we limited them down to three. And finally, we chose one to turn into our logo. The logo I decided on is an S in the shape of a lightbulb to represent creativity and wisdom. 

Adobe Illustrator 

For another class project, we used Adobe Illustator to mess around with its tools and abilities. The image attached is a demonstraton of some of the things I learned to do using Adobe Illustrator.

Laser Cut Keychain

Here, you can see two attempts of a laser cut keychain I designed on Adobe Illustator using what I've learned so far. The first one I made came out a little weird since I accidently printed it onto a piece of wood that had already been printed on, but my second attempt came out a lot better. The design is pretty basic but I'm still experimenting. I'm currently displaying my works on my hawken lanyard. I'm happy we got to use the laser cutter and I hope to get better with my designs in the future.

Name Stand

In this project, I used Adobe Illustrator to design a name stand with the Laser Cutter. The design is a simple star with my name on it. I honestly don't have a reason for the star, but I like it.

End of Course Print

In this project, I collaged 6 stages of my project together to make the print shown here. It includes 6 boxes showcasing each stage of my logo's designing process. First is the original sketch I drew of my logo. It's the letter S in the shape of a lightbulb, resembling wisdom, critical thinking, and creativity. Also the first letter of my name. The second box shows the Adobe Illustator design I made before laser cutting my logo. This part is similar to the previous laser cutting projects I made such as the Name Stand and the Laser Cut Keychain. The third box shows an image of the actual finished laser cut etch of my logo. Fourth is the vinyl cut version of my logo. The actual product is on paper, but on this website, I used a screenshot of my Adobe Illustrator design to showcase this project. The fifth box shows the design of my 3D logo that I made on Tinkercad. Finally, the last box shows the actual 3D printed version of my logo. Again, the actual 3D printed logo isn't shown on here because this is just a screenshot taken from Adobe Illustrator. Overall, I think the whole thing looks nice. I like the colors and all of the dimensions are almost exact.
