Generally, the HIDOE publicly posts solicitations on two different websites.

If interested, your company may sign up for use of this system. When registering, you will be asked to enter commodity code(s). You will be sent push notifications for solicitations that contain a commodity code that matches your company. Solicitations for goods and services (IFB's and RFP's) are posted here.

This site does not require registration. Solicitations for Professional Services and Health and Human Services are posted here. There is no push notification, but you may use the search feature to view open solicitations. You may also view contract awards on this site.

Which professional development credits are accepted by the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education (HIDOE) for teacher classification and salary advancement purposes?

There are two options for professional development credits that can be used towards reclassification and salary advancement for teachers. Credits for teacher classification and salary advancement are acquired by taking credit-bearing courses that are pre-approved by the teacherʻs administrator.
