Founded in 2024, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is a student-led organization created with the purpose of promoting the Aerospace and Aeronautics presence in the University of Hawaii and providing students interested in the topic a community to collaborate, learn, and grow. While officially an Engineering Organization in the Manoa Campus, the AIAA at UHM is comprised of undergraduate and graduate members of different fields.
The student chapter organizes various activities; regular organizational meetings at the beginning and end of the semester; KEN-Talks, which are various presentations/seminars on professional development and Aerospace Topics; outreach to the general public; etc.
