Algebraic Methods in Phylogenetics Workshop

University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, Honolulu, HI

July 20 -24, 2024

From July 20-24, 2024, the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa will host a five-day workshop focused on algebraic methods in evolutionary biology. During this workshop participants will learn about different phylogenetic network models and algebraic methods for network inference. To this end, participants will spend the week working with a research group exploring a problem in-depth. The workshop will be geared towards PhD students, postdocs, and faculty interested in branching out to a new research area. Travel funding is available for participants through the National Science Foundation award number DMS-1945584.
