When the quintessential poet, Professor Michael M. Coroza, asked me to record his translation of Jose Mari Chan's classic Christmas song, I could only say yes. :-) What an honor to sing "Pasko sa Puso."
This poem came from my collection of love poems, Nakaduyan sa Buwan. Sinaunang Ritwal was set to music by Joseph Benedicto Gonzales, a graduate of the University of the Philippines Baguio. It took two decades for this song to meet its rightful voice, Mindnay Nisa Gapet, with guitar music by Clarissa Camata.Â
