The University of Hawaiʻi System Common Scholarship Application for the 2025-2026 academic year is now available online! This application allows students to apply for multiple scholarships at once, with a wide range of opportunities included. For details, tips, FAQs, and application instructions, visit the UH System Common Scholarship Application Requirements page. Be sure to submit your application by the deadline of March 2, 2026, at 4 p.m. (HST) to be considered for both system and campus scholarships.
Hawaiʻi Community Foundation (HCF) distributes millions in scholarships each year, making it the third-largest private provider of post-secondary scholarships in the state. These scholarships support students pursuing degrees at colleges and universities, as well as those in career and technical education programs at community colleges. In 2021, the average award was $6,200 per student.

The Pauahi Foundation administers scholarships funded by private donors, supporting college-level studies, as well as trade and vocational courses. Awards may be based on merit, financial need, or specific geographic regions.
Scholarships are open to the general public, including students who are not graduates of Kamehameha Schools. However, preference is given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry, as permitted by law.

Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) offers scholarships to Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander students. Scholarship awards range from one-time $2,500 awards to multi-year $20,000 awards. APIA Scholars provides scholarships to underserved APIA students, with a special focus on those who:
Live at or below the poverty level or are of low socioeconomic status
Are the first in their families to attend college
Represent the diversity of the APIA community (geographically and ethnically), especially those from underrepresented groups on college campuses
Demonstrate a commitment to community service, leadership, and strong academic achievement
The application opens November 15. and closes on January 15.

The purpose of the Nā Hokua Scholarship is to provide one-on-one coaching, career preparation, and financial support for full-time or part-time Native Hawaiian undergraduate students pursuing a certificate or degree at a University of Hawaiʻi (UH) System Community College (CC) or Education Center (EC).
Students must be of Hawaiian ancestry. Students from all islands are highly encouraged to apply.

Growing the next generation of aloha ʻāina leaders in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific through transformative place-based internships, mentorship, innovative programming, and strategic partnerships.
PIPES houses four transformative pathway programs: Naʻau (Ancestral Pathway Program), ʻĀina (Ecological Pathway Program), Kaiāulu (Community Pathway Program), and Kaʻao (Research Pathway Program) that focus on cultivating the longitudinal capacity of the next generation of aloha ʻāina leaders in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific through internships and mentorships that impact academic and career pathways, workforce development, and thriving communities.
OCA National is now accepting applications for the 2026 Summer Internship Program! Undergraduate students (and recent grads) interested in uplifting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities are highly encouraged to apply.
Apply by November 30, 2025 to receive priority consideration. The final deadline to apply is January 4, 2026.
What to know:
This is a full-time, paid internship. Interns will receive a $5,250 stipend for the 10-week program from June 1 - August 7, 2026.
Interns will gain valuable professional work experience at congressional offices, federal or local government agencies, for-profit corporations, and nonprofits (including OCA National Center).
Interns will attend leadership development, professional development, and personal enrichment programming, learn more about issues affecting AANHPIs, meet with legislative officials to advocate for AANHPI causes, and more.
Interns will be assigned an experienced mentor to support their professional and personal development.
