NK participants do not have access to ebooks (online books via UHM Library) since it requires a UHM username and password which are not provided to participants.

The NK program is free and there is no cost to participate.
There may be course fees for Art classes for supplies and materials. To fulfill the materials fee, please follow up with the course instructor or Art Department Office.
Your level of participation as a NK participant will be different than enrolled students. NK Participants are considered auditors and are not eligible for credit or grade.
Therefore, you should discuss with your instructor what level of participation is appropriate for you in the class.
For example: Am I required to submit homework, or take tests? Am I allowed to participate in class discussions or ask questions? May I simply observe? If I am not able to make it to class, do you want me to send you an email ahead of time?
