The Spotlight on Appreciation & Innovation in Lamakū project aims to feature curated samples that support the instructor's course delivery and student experience with real-world examples of teaching approaches in Lamakū, the University of Hawaiʻi’s online learning management system. Through video interviews, course screencasts, and searchable metadata, the resources will support faculty development, promote consistency in course design, and amplify student voices in instructional innovation.

Student Feedback: Students may report frustration with inconsistent course layouts, missed assignments, and lower academic confidence.

The Spotlight on Appreciation & Innovation in Lamakū project is a strategy aligned with the campus-supported (campus survey March 2025) impact initiative, Examples of Quality Online Course Experiences. This project directly supports Goals 1 and 2, Tactic 1 of our institutional strategic plan by enhancing online instructor satisfaction and strengthening the teaching and learning environment within the Lamakū LMS.
