Canva will be used to produce marketing materials for an entrepreneurial venture, including but not limited to generating a company logo which can then be used for product labels, print and digital marketing.
Example of use:
The description provided was “a smoothie shop, with rainbow twist” slight variations of the statement produced new results as seen in the second image.

I’m interested in integrating CapCut as a technology resource for my culinary students. I’m working to incorporate more project based learning projects to allow students accountability and some freedom of choice when choosing how they want to implement their work. I would like students to work on a cooking demonstration video to be able to plan their cooking video, choose their recipe, apply food safety & sanitation practices while demonstrating proper cooking techniques & skills through recording a video. Capcut is an all in one template that allows you to create high quality and visually appealing videos.Capcut will support students to compile and edit their videos. I look forward to adding other projects to help promote the business and marketing aspect of culinary.

I would use EdPuzzle which allows me to check the understanding of students in the middle of their learning. This will cue them that they should be taking notes on these specific topics or a specific section of a topic. Students will later use Edpuzzle to better understand how they can use media to learn/teach. This aligns with the digital media platform of the industry as the standard requires them to look into the past of the film industry.

Virtual Gardening PBL: I would like to have the students be able to use the current trend of virtual farming in our classroom. This will allow students to learn about sustainability and have pride in their herbs & vegetables they have grown for themselves to use throughout the school year. -

Residential and Commercial Construction
I am trying to integrate using 3D modeling software into my construction classes. Many of my students are interested in architecture and engineering so I want them to use the building concepts they learn in class to help them create the designs digitally. I chose to use SketchUp as it’s an app that the students can have access to through their school emails, so they can use this software wherever they can log onto their email. I think it is a very easy platform for the students to use and has its own tutorials that can help them learn the basics of the program.

I’d like to try to incorporate the vacuum sealer in my course since it can be used for preservation, food safety, marinating, portion control, etc. Also I make purchases from Costco for labs and being able to vacuum seal those expensive proteins will be cost efficient. I like that the items can be portioned out in advance and stay fresh longer with vacuum sealing. It would be good for students to see/taste the difference between marinating foods in a vacuum sealer vs in a Ziploc as well as learn about the other benefits. I also want to incorporate the sous vide cooking method into my course but that would require purchasing some immersion circulators (another industry technology)

Why: I chose AI because of its widespread use in everyday life for personal as well as professional gain. I am a novice in this subject and acknowledge that my students know more than I do.
How: I intended to integrate it into my unit about ethical use of technology and academic integrity.
The public product students will produce is a lesson on how to use AI effectively and ethically - one lesson for peers including SpEd classroom (digital citizenship) and one lesson for faculty.

I would like to learn how to integrate AI-generated applications and different forms of AI in a positive way. Since it’s here to stay, it’s important to teach students when and how it can be used. I also intend to use survey tools and Mentimeter more often to check in with students.
Keeping abreast of current educational technologies is very important for teachers to find ways to engage different learning styles. Even if it’s a quick review game or survey of how everyone is doing, using various technologies can help to keep students engaged.
