Please make sure you're registered for 15-16 credits for fall
If you have been admitted to a program like ACE or HIPSS, you may already have a specific set of courses already reserved for you, but you still have to actually register for them.
ACE will send you further information about how to get into the classes in your cluster (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9aJRC1oOPM)
In most cases, they will register you for the ACE classes in advance if you are accepted. You may still need to select 1-2 classes of your own to achieve the 14-16 minimum credits we recommend
https://shidler.hawaii.edu/hipss
Applications still being accepted until May 15!
For HIPSS, you still have to register yourself for the saved class sections.
The HIPSS program should be emailing you on May 20 with further instructions on how to sign up for your assigned classes. They are not visible in the course system, so youʻll need these instructions to register. Your required 4 classes for fall will take place Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 1-5pm. You still need to pick your 5th class.
Don't pick any class that will be taught in Spring for HIPSS as your 5th class! The 4 spring 2023 HIPSS classes are:
BUS 399
ECON 131 (Macroeconomics)
SOC 100 (Sociology 100)---don't take PSY 100 this fall as they fulfill the same requirement.
ENG 100
So some good choices might be general education requirements like science, a DH or DL, an FGA/FGB/FGC
As Module 8 shows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyHAv3mWzpE
Around the 1:49 mark, see the CRN box in the left-hand column. Plug in the CRN you're given for that requirement and hit Search.
