When I arrived, I was warmly embraced by Paolo, Tanya, and Jack, who welcomed me into their home with open arms. Paolo, originally from Florence, and Tanya, a California native, met 25 years ago during a study abroad trip and have been together ever since. My roommate Jack is from Australia, and he's a dedicated Liverpool fan. The family prepares incredible home-cooked Italian meals filled with love, and we often gather around the dinner table to enjoy lively conversations and watch futball matches together.
