Many factors contribute to the quality of life for people living in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific. Cultural strengths, access to ocean and greenspace, strong community bonds, and progressive legislation all contribute to the well-being of our community. The Center for Research and Evaluation in the Social Sciences (CRESS) aims to identify and address these critical issues. The Center is composed of five focus areas, drawing from the work of researchers from across the College of Social Sciences, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Please see the following offices for more information on work in each of these critical areas.
