The Office for Poverty Research and Action (OPRA) aims to identify and address challenges associated with economic inequality, marginalization, and lack of affordable housing.
OPRA's new data hub for Hawaiʻi homelessness and housing data and reports. Policymakers, community leaders, and other stakeholders rely on data to make evidence-based decisions to address housing insecurity and homelessness. Unfortunately, this data are often housed across agencies and can be difficult to find and merge. Led by OPRA faculty, this site represents the beginnings of an ongoing effort to make it easier to access information needed to drive decisions.
