Kelsey Ikeda Post Baccalaureate Student
Kelsey is a post baccalaureate student with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Johnson & Wales University.
Her Research Proposal was on the Examining the Correlation Between Social Media Use and Symptoms of Depression and Anxiety College Students: A Mixed-Methods Approach. Her research ranges from chemistry research such as increasing the yield of caffeine through a liquid to liquid extracting from black tea leaves to physiology research from utilizing the electroencephalography (EEG) to explore the attentional differences between Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Neurotypical College Age Students.
Her most recent research project was to improve technical writing skills in an organic chemistry lab course. She is applying for a variety of graduate programs for Fall 2027.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trying new activities, and learning new skills.
