FAQs
Based at UH Mānoa, the CHIP program offers a paid summer internship specializing in the design and manufacturing of micro- and nanoscale technologies. Interns work alongside leading experts within our on-campus POST cleanroom, mastering a hands-on "lab-to-fab" curriculum that bridges the gap between academic research and industrial production.
To ensure our interns are career-ready, we supplement traditional classroom theory with direct employer connectivity through strategic industry site visits, providing a high-level view of the engineering sectors. By prioritizing advanced career skills and technical navigation, the program fosters its interns with the professional leverage required to excel in competitive technical and academic environments.
