Namaskaara,
Thank you all for being an integral part of our successful convention! We missed those who could not join.
Your presence, from across the US and Canada, and India truly made it a vibrant and memorable event. The amazing performances from all age groups, shared youth activities and performances, inspiring speech and presentations added immense energy and joy to our gathering. It was great to connect with everyone! Special thanks to the volunteers from the Northeast Chapter and the numerous HAA families whose efforts made this event possible. Our thanks to all the Sponsors, the Upper Merion school, Lower Perkiomen Valley park, Bharatiya Temple, Malgudi food vendor and many extended supporters and organizations. We appreciate all the kudos and kind words received from the HAA community about the convention, and that the purpose of Youth focussed convention is met beyond its expectations! Kudos to the entire Youth of HAA for their multi-chapter collaboration, networking and shared achievements.
I hope you had some time to explore our beautiful and vibrant East Coast. We will cherish the beautiful memories with you all forever!
Cheers to the HAA Community and its strong bonds!
Warm regards,
Usha Kuloor

Havyaka Bandhugale
Hope everyone had a safe trip back. New England chapter had an amazing time meeting everyone, some known faces and some new friends.
This is my first time attending HAA convention and I can say that this is a very well organized and highly successful event. Truly inspiring to see the dedication and commitment of all the individuals towards the success of the event and the community.
Congratulations to Chicago chapter for securing the opportunity to host the next convention! Time to get excited as 2026 will be here before we know it✌️
Best Wishes

Hello Everyone,
This was my first convention and now I regret for not attending the past conventions. Better late than never I suppose. I think that I attended the best and have decided to make future convention one of my top priorities after my family events. My sincere thanks to all the organizers. Enjoyed the picnic(fun outdoor activities), and connected with my extended family in this far away land, thanks to Vinuta Akka.
Thanks to entertainment committee for giving us a chance to perform on the stage. Most of us who danced for second Namami song (Atlanta chapter) are 40+ and first time dancers for bigger audience. We thank all the audiences for cheering us. After seeing so many adult performances, I felt like age is just a number. My only suggestion to next events is to somehow ensure the songs/themes are not repeated.
I really loved the way this event combined the present(all the parents) and the future(all the youths), and also the way how it had the mix of Havyaka bhaashe and English. We are proud of our bhaashe, but not to forget English is what has brought us this far and giving us 'Anna' and is the language that connects the whole world together.
Another suggestion to HAA is creating a Havyaka professional network, if one doesn't already exist that I am unaware of. We are very kind hearted people, but when it comes to helping professionally and networking we are seriously lacking and far behind. We see those kind of help and collaboration within Telagu community. It would definitely help with those who are on H1 Visa, the youths who are looking for internship etc. If you want to increase the participation, adding some opportunities like that might attract more crowd and also benefit them for joining the Havyaka community.
Atlantakke bandaga muddam manige banni. We are just a phone call away. Thank you all!
ಹವ್ಯಕ ಬಂಧುಗಳೇ, I cannot believe the 2024 convention is already over. As I sit here at the airport, I’m reminiscing about your unparalleled hospitality and the camaraderie. I must say this was one of the best planned, managed and executed functions. Roopa and I sincerely thank all of you for including us. We seek the blessings of the elders that charted the path forward for us. I wish all the talented youth in the group great success.
Hello Everyone, We are back in Dallas and still in the hangover of HAA convention . This was my first havyaka convention and I felt like I got to witness the best. I am guilty of not being part of previous convention. First of all the thanks to Northeast chapter folks pulling togather such an outstanding event. I am amazed at how much talent is in havyaka community. Every single act / performance had full of creativity . I have attended many events here in Dallas the creativity that was shown on HAA stage is unmatchable . Youth involvement in the convention was truely inspiring as they are the ones who are going to keep the havyaka legacy alive . I know there was comment about usage of more havyaka language on stage but I think having English narration also has helped kids have better context . My 9 year old and 6 year old watched the equillibrium show with curious eyes and that tells a lot . In the end it’s not the language but willingness of youth to be part of havyaka culture that matters and that was very evident .
We had very few attendance from Dallas texas chapter but you all have inspired us so much I am hoping to one day Dallas havyakas will come togather to host the convention .
Last but not least I want to thank Ushakka Shailakka and Ranjan Hegde for accommodating the last moment registration and helping us navigate last moment problems. I truely felt like I attended a havyaka wedding . Thank you for your hospitality.
Regards ,
Bhavana ,Pradeep , Siddhartha and Samarth Hegde
