Browse available library books through the online public access catalog. Students in grades 4th-8th may log into the library catalog with their student account and place books on hold.
Students are generally allowed to check out as many books corresponding to their grade (i.e., fourth graders, four books) but we are flexible here, and would rather have a student check out a book rather than not. There are no overdue fines but lost and damaged books will need to be replaced by the student in question. Books may be checked out for two weeks, with exceptions made for class-assigned books.
Library accounts are automatically created for Hausner students upon enrollment. Families who wish to create one additional family account may do so as well (just email Cressida.) Hausner alumni may also check out library books.
Of course! Email Cressida with general requests like "I like Greek Mythology" or "Funny books for a fourth grader" and we will find some fun books for you to enjoy.
Students may return books in the library, or using the return box next to the Lower School Front Desk.
