Week 7

INQUIRY

This week we wrote letters to people in the school who do jobs for the school. We wrote letters to thank them for what they do and also to ask them questions about what they do for their jobs. We personally delivered our letters and we have got replies! We have been so excited to read the letters we have got back.

SNAG Golf

We had fun this week and last week participating in learning how to use a golf club and to hit a tennis ball at a target.

Art:

  • We have been practising drawing a portrait this week. It is quite tricky to include all the features of a face and to also use the right size and put them in the right places!

Well done Chloe and Jayden for being superstars this week!

Week 2

TEAMWORK:

  • We played a game this week in groups of 4. We had to keep our balloon up in the air and not let it touch the ground. We learnt the importance of letting every one have a turn and working together to have fun.

Life Education:

  • We have had two visits to the Life Education van. We met Harold the Giraffe and learnt about how to be a nice friend to others.

Welcome to Minato and Jessica! You have had a great start in Room 6 and at Hauraki School!

Week 1

It has been a week of getting to know each other this week and settling into Room 6!

We have realised we are all unique and different but we are looking forward to making new friends and helping each other learn.
