This is a quick one-minute video on how GMail Shortcuts can help with work productivity.
I created a Google Site to help give parents and students a direct connection to my classroom. Here, parents can access class newsletters, photos and other classroom happenings. The students have access to their homework postings, websites and my digital classrooms.
In our TC unit, Accelerating Readers Growth, students are asked to gather information about the main character of the book that they are reading from a series book. We used Molly Mac: Lucky Break and asked students to create a journal entry on Seesaw that represented things that they learned about the main character Molly Mac. Students were given the freedom to use words, drawings, clip art etc. to complete this task.
I created this mindful virtual classroom to give teachers and staff immediate resources targeted at bringing social emotional learning into the classroom. It incorporates our District’s new program, Choose Love, as well as mindful resources to use with students and staff. It features a breathing page, mindful music choices, Choose Love materials and lessons by grade level, a full library of books that encompass all the Choose Love ingredients, teacher mindfulness activities, yoga exercises and more. It is my hope that this virtual classroom will encourage teachers to step outside their comfort zone and Choose Love, for themselves and their students.
