7P5 - 3D Design

Reflection

• Using Tinker cad and my recourses I created a cable holder. I created a cable holder because I don't like how my cords get all tangled up. Also because my room is messy and that is making it worse.

• During this process, I learned how to use tinker cad. I learned how to make a 3D design. I also learned how to measure the shapes to know how wide they are to make the right measurements to do my 3D design.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational thinker. I think its computational thinker because I identified important information that I could have missed and fixed it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trusting the measurements. I was able to do it by remeasuring. I also let somebody else measure it to make sure it was the right measurement.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change change the design . The reason why I would change it is because I want something more challenging. I also want to do something different.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in primary duties.
