Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am on a team with Logan, Brennen, Caleb, and Meredith
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need cardboard.
What is your plan to create in this project?
An arena of cardboard.
What unique qualities will your project have?
It is easily assembled and pretty portable when it is disassembled
Daily Log:
Day 1: Today me and the group played with the Sphero minis.
Day 2: We made the floor (even though it is still one piece) and the wall of the arena today.
Day 3: Today we had successfully made the supports for the floor pieces and made a more permanent wall
Day 4: We recorded a video of us playing with the Sphero minis in the arena but without the walls since they were too much of a hassle.

Using cardboard, I created a Sphero mini arena because we needed a safe area for the to-the-death Sphero fight.
During this process, I learned how to use good supports for the walls.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to an Innovative Designer because we made this from personally cut cardboard and plastic screws. It also ties to Knowledge Constructor because I learned how to make good walls.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the walls stay in place. I was able to do it by using plastic screws instead of duct tape. Another challenge was staying focused and actually doing something productive the whole time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the floor design. I would change it because we didn't have a good temporary floor that had to be lowered and held by hand.
