Daily Log:

Day one: Today I was trying to find an idea to actually be able to do.

Day two: I was still working on the design and figuring a good project

Day four: I was working on a keyboard case

Day five: I completely changed my idea and had to work on a rupee instead

Day six: I was adding the details and added a stand

Day seven: I got the design ready to be printed

• Using a 3D printer, I created a rupee stand because I like the game it comes from and I had trouble with other similar ideas.

• During this process, I learned that making a print that works can be very challenging.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I used multiple skills to solve my problem.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting a design that worked. I was able to do it by constantly reworking and rethinking the initial design.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the basic design. The reason why I would change it is because the stand had a gap in it.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3D printing.
