What is my plan to make in this project: To make a sword

• Using cardboard , I created a sword because i found that making a sword was the most interensting. This may not be everyones option but making a sword showed how i can choise somthing different.

• During this process, I learned how to have paitents because i had to rebuild my sword twice. This shows my patients i have with my project. I also had to take time to find sizing and it took a while.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being a global collabratore because i used the computor and put my work on it to share with the world. A computor can help put my work out into the world.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was having paitents becuase i couldnt get the size right so i had to redo it twice.I was able to do it by having patients and trying again.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the sword was. The reason why I would change it is because i want it to be longer. it being longer it will be morwe like a sword.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  It connects becuse it will help me with my life in the future you will need to have more paitents.

• My project connects to careers in real life because there is jobs that make boxes into things.
