Using a micro bit and a computer, I created a rock-paper-scissors game because I thought it would be a cool and smart idea. During this process, I learned how to program a micro bit. The 7 standards of the class are empowered learner, digital citizen, knowledge constructor, innovative designer, computational thinker, creative communicator, and global collaborator. My project was tied to a knowledge constructor because I didn't know how to use a mico-bit until this project. A challenge I overcame on this project was adding music. I was able to do it by watching tutorials. Given a chance to do this again, I would change was the intro. The reason why I would change it is that it was a little bland. Hastings high school's career and technical education program offer agriculture, business management, computer programming, construction trades, culinary arts, digital multimedia, engineering design, finance, insurance, and marketing. My project connects to the computer programming cte program at hastings high school. My project connects to careers in computer programming.
