Using hot wheels cars and tracks, I created a track that goes down a cabinet through a tunnel and under my desk because I wanted to see how far the car could go down the track.
During this process, I learned how to make a hot wheels car go down a cabinet and through my desk.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker, because when ever the car fell off or didn't go far I would think of the place it stopped or where it fell off and make it steeper or stabilize the area making it go down all the way and making it not fall down.
A challenge I overcame on this project was fixing the track to make the car not fall off. I was able to do it by straightening the track and putting a box under the track.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the track is. The reason why I would change it is because the track starts to knock into objects and its hard to work with the track in general.
