Using Mergecube, iPads, and CoSpaces Edu, I created The Rainy Day Story because I wanted to make a good story.
During this process, I learned how to code in AR.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I am working with computers.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making a new scene. I was able to do it by watching a youtube video.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the lock feature. The reason why I would change it is that I would always forget to lock the characters in place, so I would go to move the cube all of the characters would fall off.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in AR design.
