Using iPad and iMovie, I created a movie of the stuff I like. Stuff like Barry sanders, dirt bikes, the Lions, my favorite dog breed, my favorite food, drag racing, NFS(which is a video game), and my favorite number. This is because I wanted to show you the stuff I like and the stuff about me. and i hope you guys like the movie I made.

During this process, I learned how to make a movie on iMovie, add sound to my movie, and all that you have to do is go to the 3 dots and press it, and go all the way to the bottom and it will say sound effects. I also learned how to add pictures to my movie from google, which is kind of simple, all is you have to do is go to google and select a picture that you want on your movie, BUT, you have to make the images common creative licenses, I think that's what they are called. I also learned how to add a voiceover, which you have to go to the corner of the screen like under the movie and there will be a microphone and you press it.  And a whole lot of other stuff you can do on iMovie.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being creative communicator because it shows  my favorite things. this is why i think my project ties to real life work  because it ready's me for typing and technology type stuff.

A challenge I overcame on this project was adding my voice to my video. I was able to do it by walking out into the hallway and doing the voiceover with nobody out in the hall. I overcame this challenge is because i kind of had to.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long my movie is because it would be better because if it was longer the people watching my video would be more entertained if it was longer. I would also add more sound effects because i only have like 2 sound effects in my video and thats kind of boring. And etc... The reason why I would change it is because i want people to watch better quality videos and listen to better sound effects and more voiceover.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the  CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in film editor because they all involve in selecting, arranging and refining material to create a cohesive and compelling final product.
