First i had to start to get used to getting the stuff onto the micro bit. It took a little bit but i started to get the hang of it!
i started with just things like this!(a fish) i also did a couple other things like a box and stuff
Then i went to way cooler things like this!
IMG_0003.MOVUsing the micro bit, I created lots of things because i was forced and i couldn't do the dash .
During this process, I learned how to code the bit to make stuff with lights!!.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational thinker because i had to think very computational to learn to code the bit!
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the cord I was able to do it by looking around the classroom and steeling the wire from someone.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fish i did. The reason why I would change it is because i wanted to do music or something.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in engineering and coding.
