i am planning to make a better design then I did in my first laser cut.

What unique qualities will your project have?

it will be a few vehicle symbols.

on day on I mad the list of 25 ideas I could to for a laser cutter project. o also did the planning questions. And then started working on my design. Then i went home and finished my project. and made the cut and engrave and sent it to Mr. Renner.

on day 2 I took a video of me getting the board in the machine and turning it on.

on day 3 I took pictures and videos of my project and finished it today(12-2-2021).

on day 4 I made the captions to the pictures and videos I made

• Using the laser cutter, I created a design of some vehicle symbols because that was something I wanted to do for a while.

• During this process, I learned how to make vehicle signs and get more knowledge on how to set up for the laser cutter.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I used a website on the computer to create my design and sent it to the teacher to send a file to the laser cutter to get it printed.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was how the symbols would tern out. I was able to do it by just trusting the process of the print.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of symbols and edit the space of the board. The reason why I would change it is because I don't have all the symbols I originally wanted on my project and the board was to big for the symbols and I have a little bit more space to fill in.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Engineering Design.
